As we all know by now, fall is here and near. But is this year’s fall now any different from what it was a few years ago? 

The answer is yes. 

It is reported that temperatures have fallen by 3 degrees across the United States in the past 50 years. 97% of 250 cities have experienced a warmer fall season compared to the 1970s. Some majorly affected cities include Nevada, Texas, and Arizona. 

This means that the air conditioner will be switched on almost daily for several hours, and energy usage and costs are entirely through the roof! More fossil fuel is burnt, contributing to global warming and rising temperatures. 

If we closely compare the recent fall years with the past, one thing is explicit: nature is warning us about something that we are not doing right. 

It’s time to rethink.
